Nursery FAQs

What ages do you care for?

We welcome little ones from 6 months to 5 years, with dedicated rooms for Babies (6–24 months), Adventures (24–36 months), and Preschool (3–5 years).

What does a typical day look like?

Our days are full of fun and learning! Children enjoy free-flow play, creative activities, music and movement, sensory experiences, and plenty of outdoor exploration. We follow their interests to make sure every day is exciting and engaging.

How do you help children get ready for school?

In Preschool, we focus on building independence, social skills, communication, and early learning. We also run school readiness workshops to help children get used to routines, classroom expectations, and new experiences before starting Reception.

What are stay-and-play sessions?

These are special sessions where children and families can explore the nursery together, join in activities, and see how we support learning and development. It’s also a great chance to meet our staff and other families.

What special events do you have?

We love celebrating together! Some of our favourites include:

  • Mother’s Day Breakfast Morning
  • Father’s Day Afternoon Tea
  • Easter Bunny Hop (charity fundraiser)
  • Christmas Stay & Play with Santa

How do you keep parents updated?

We stay in touch with parents through daily updates, newsletters, parent meetings, and our digital platform so you always know what your child has been up to.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes! We offer healthy, balanced meals and snacks, tailored to children’s dietary needs and allergies.

Do children spend time outdoors?

Absolutely! Our children have daily access to the garden and outdoor classroom, giving them the chance to explore nature, be active, and continue their learning outside.

How do you follow children’s interests?

We base activities on what children enjoy, both at nursery and at home. Their achievements are displayed on our “Wall of Fame”, which inspires creativity and celebrates their progress.

How can I arrange a visit or enrol my child?

It’s easy! Just contact us to book a tour or stay-and-play session. We’ll show you around, answer your questions, and explain how we support every child’s learning and development.
